Casa is a search tool. We collect rooms, studios and apartments from public listing sites, check them for hidden rules and scam patterns, and help you write the first message, which you send yourself. We are not an estate agent and not a rental agency. We never contact landlords on our own behalf, never arrange viewings, never handle contracts, deposits or keys, and we never take money from a landlord or agency. We work for you only.
We cannot promise you a room, a reply, or that a listing is still available. The listings come from other websites and we show them as they are, so prices, photos and rules can be wrong or out of date. Always view a place, or have someone you trust view it, before you pay anything to anyone. Our scam and registration checks are a help, not a guarantee.
Use your own details and keep them true, because we put them in messages to real landlords. One account per person. Do not use Casa to spam, to scrape it, or to send anything you would not sign your name to. We can close an account that does.
Casa writes a first message in Dutch from your details, which you copy and send yourself from your own email, phone or the listing site. You are responsible for what it says. Casa does not contact landlords for you and never sends anything on your behalf. Casa is free for students. We may earn a small referral fee from some sites and deals we link to, and it never changes what you see or pay.
We run Casa carefully but we cannot be liable for a room you did not get, a listing that turned out to be wrong, or money you paid to someone else. Where we are liable, it is limited to what you paid us. Nothing here limits your rights under Dutch consumer law.
We update these terms when the product changes, and the date at the top says when. Dutch law applies.
