Where the rooms actually are

Every place a Maastricht room shows up, ranked by how useful it is for an international, and what each one costs.

Casa scans these for you

You don't need to check them all. That's the point of Casa. But here's the map.

  • Kamernet. The biggest. Landlords post for free, tenants pay a subscription to reply (around €15 to €35 a month). Casa shows you Kamernet listings with the eligibility check done; you still need a Kamernet account to reply.
  • Marktplaats. The Dutch Craigslist. Lots of private landlords, lots of noise, more scams. Free to reply. Casa filters the noise.
  • HousingAnywhere. Rotterdam-based, aimed at internationals, book online without a viewing. Safer, pricier.
  • Pararius. Agencies. Apartments more than rooms. Free for tenants, but agencies often want income proof.
  • Maastricht Housing. The official UM and Zuyd portal, run with the university. €35 one-time fee, worth it: real, verified rooms from partner landlords. Register there too. Casa can't scan it (login only).
  • Facebook groups: "Maastricht Housing", "Kamers Maastricht", "Maastricht Student Housing". Fast, chaotic, scam-heavy. Read the scam guide first.
  • UM Guesthouse. Short stays from the university, good for your first weeks while you hospiteer.

What Casa adds

One feed, every source, with three things no site tells you: can you actually get it, can you register there, and is it real. Plus a first message ready to send, in Dutch or English depending on who's listing. Free.
