Questions students ask

What are the best Facebook groups for student housing in Eindhoven?

The busiest ones are listed on this page, 4 for Eindhoven plus the national Netherlands groups. Join several: the same room rarely gets posted in all of them.

Are Facebook housing groups safe?

The rooms are real and so are the scams. Never pay a deposit or a first month before you, or someone you trust, has stood inside the room. A video call is not a viewing.

Do I need to speak Dutch to use them?

No. Most groups are in English. The ones called Kamer are mainly Dutch, and posting there in English is still fine.

How do I actually get a reply in a Eindhoven housing group?

Post as well as scroll. One short post saying who you are, when you arrive and your budget gets you found, and reply to new posts within the hour.
