Have a room in your flat to fill? Looking for someone to search with, or a flat to join? Students only, contact through Casa. Free to post. Replies come to your email through Casa, so your number stays off the internet.
Be the first. Post that you have a room to fill, or that you're looking.
A coffee, or a video call if one of you is still abroad. Ask about the boring stuff: cleaning, guests, noise, how bills are split. Ten minutes now saves a semester.
Whoever holds the contract is responsible. A two-line agreement with rent, deposit, dates and notice period, signed by both, is enough. Registration at the address needs the landlord's OK.
Two students with a guarantor each are more attractive to landlords than one. Set one Casa alert for apartments and one for rooms, and reply as a pair.
